Powązki Cemeteries & Fort Bema

Route 1
Time: ~2 hours Type: Walking Start: Metro Dworzec Gdański

From Metro Dworzec Gdański, take tram line 1 to Powązkowski Street. Visit the historic Powązki Civil Cemetery (est. 1791), then the Military Cemetery, before heading west to the abandoned Fort Bema in Bemowo.

Fortifications & Warsaw Citadel

Route 2
Time: ~2.5 hours Type: Walking Start: Plac Wilsona (M1)

Starting at Plac Wilsona in Żoliborz, walk through Park Żeromskiego, past interwar villas, and into the Warsaw Citadel — home to the Katyń Museum, the Polish Army Museum, and panoramic city views.

Bielany — Forest & Monastery

Route 3

Explore the cobbled streets of Stare Bielany, pass through the AWF sports university campus, walk the Bielański Forest, and arrive at the secluded Camaldolese Monastery — one of Warsaw's true hidden gems.
